Reflection

Reflection  My "All About Me Commercial" production was a learning experience that took me outside of my comfort zone and opened my eyes to new creative possibilities. I had originally planned to shoot the video at home, but I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to use a "A Day in My Life"-style vlog format. This modification not only changed the direction of my endeavor, but it also provided a more accurate and intimate portrait of who I am. Although this new structure allowed for a more accurate representation, I encountered unforeseen difficulties. Nervousness overcame me as I faced the camera, and I briefly froze. My inability to speak clearly was a result of my fear of being on camera. This experience demonstrated the value of preparation and practice in successfully overcoming stage fear. Utilizing technology, especially my iPad's iMovie and Capcut for editing, was a learning lesson in and of itself. I learned how effective these tools were in ...

Production Blog Hey there readers! Welcome to my last and final Production Blog! I am now in the process of editing my video. Filmed on my trusty iPad Pro, I am editing it with the application software called CapCut; I am so excited to bring my vision to life!  I was pleasantly surprised by the video my iPad Pro was able to take. The excellent graphics and clear audio effectively delivered my point. The plot traces my journey while highlighting my character, interests, and goals. The opening scenes established the tone and showed many elements of my life and hobbies. In order to guarantee that the story flowed naturally, I started by sorting the raw material and arranging the segments. I was able to quickly chop footage, reorganize sequences, and match the movie to the music I had carefully chosen thanks to Capcut's user-friendly interface. I intend to employ text overlays with dynamic fonts and colors to emphasize significant events and accomplishments while highlighting im...

Production Blog    Hey there, fellow readers! I recently embarked on an exciting creative endeavor — making my very own "All About Me" commercial. I've been wanting to share a glimpse of my life and passions, and what better way than through a personalized video. In this blog post, I'll take you through my thought process and the tools I plan on using for this fun project.   First off, the setting. I was motivated to infuse my commercial with the same vigor and resolve as the protagonists' unwavering quest of achievement. It sound...

It's amazing how far smartphone technology has come, and it's now more than capable of capturing high-quality video. Plus, it's a device I always have on hand, making it the perfect choice for documenting my journey. One thing you should know about me is that I genuinely enjoy school. It's not just about the classes and textbooks; it's about the opportunity to learn and grow. Whether it's tackling complex math problems or diving into the world of literature, I re...

Production Blog Hey there, everyone! Today, I want to take you behind the scenes and give you a glimpse into the exciting journey I'm embarking on to create my very own commercial. It's a project that's been on my mind for a while, and I'm thrilled to share with you the process of bringing it to life. Brainstorming ideas for my commercial was the first stage. What was the message I wanted to deliver, and how could I achieve it successfully? I devoted a lot of time to making notes and storyboard sketches. This would serve as the framework for my commercial. I will begin organizing the specifics after having a definite notion in mind. This will involve finding suitable settings, picking the right actors, and writing the screenplay. I have to make a lot of adjustments to the script in order to get it to feel exactly perfect since I want every scene and phrase to contribute to the broader theme. The editing stage is when the true magic took place once the filming was over...
