Pitch Blog



 Hey bloggers! Welcome back! We've been brainstorming on our ideas for our film. These have been our 2 pitch ideas:

First Pitch: Comedy was put on the table. Since we'll have other people who are going to help create this video, we thought Gabi getting fired from Publix and planning a plot for revenge would be great.

Second Pitch: A girl from a friend group gets broken up with. She felt as if she lost herself and traveled to take care of herself and improve.

For the first pitch, I'm not too excited mainly because I think it would be harder to film. Gabi might quit Publix so it might be difficult when she doesn't have a uniform. She has worked there for almost a year now which could be beneficial since she's known and her coworkers would allow us to film. We would have to ask now because we do not want to be late when asking permission to film on the property. Other than that, if we did comedy I feel like we'd have to talk to the people we want to include so that we could come up with other ideas.

For the second pitch, we're much more excited. To think about it, we did something a bit similar with the backstory of our music video. It would tie in and be a funny coincidence. We would have the same people in this project as we did last time. The video would be planned much easier and we'd know how to arrange times with the friends included.

  Hey everyone! We're back with another update, this time taking you behind the scenes of the editing process for our Final Task project. After filming wrapped up on Fort Lauderdale Beach (those summer vibes are coming in strong!), it was time to turn all that footage into something magical. The first step involved gathering all the clips from my amazing group members. We created a shared album to make it easy, and then it was game on! Instead of jumping straight into fancy title cards, I decided to focus on building a solid foundation. Think of it like laying the groundwork for a house – you wouldn't decorate before the walls are up, right? So, I started by creating a rough cut of the entire Final Task. Production Blog - Just getting started!

  Hey bloggers. As of right now, we're trying to figure out what we're going to do and how we'll plan for our music video. We won't have costumes that stand out but most likely an outfit that would match well with the original music video. When it comes to where we might film, our options are either school or scenes to represent a "city". For example, many tall buildings. Places with a lot of people and colors. I do have work and Alyssa usually has to watch my brother after school so it's going to be a bit tricky to find an exact time but we are talking about it and trying to make it work. Eventually, we will find some time that is convenient for both of us. The only "props" that we'd use in a sense would be our phones to record but I'm not so sure that would be considered a prop.
