More ideas in the make!
Hey Bloggers! Welcome back. We've made some progress to share. Sloane, Stella, Noah, Dalilah, and Alyssa planned to visit the park after school to film a few shots for one of the date scenes in our project. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend due to work. They headed to the park's soccer fields and captured clips of Noah and Dalilah playing soccer and enjoying themselves. Noah and Dalilah are a real-life couple, which is why we chose them for this project. Using other people, especially in our age group, might have been more challenging. Personally, I tend to get shy and freeze up when on camera, and Dalilah is also quite shy. So, we tried to make her discomfort less noticeable during filming, resulting in a more natural and unforced performance. Noah is similar in this regard.
As Noah and Dalilah goofed around and played soccer, we discreetly recorded them, capturing their spontaneous hugs and giggles. They also filmed additional shots with Sloane and Stella, creating a scene where they all hang out as a group. Despite being in a group setting, Noah and Dalilah remained close to each other, giving the impression of comfort and keeping the focus on them, even when interacting with friends.
In our previous blog, Alyssa expressed concern about wind noise being picked up by the microphone. However, in these park clips, the wind was not as noticeable. When editing all the "date" clips together, we aimed to mute most of the audio but retain sound for specific moments, such as Dalilah's laughter or phrases that someone in her position would say, like "I love you," to make those moments more memorable.
That's all for now. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and stay tuned for our next update!
